You Shu widened his eyes and choked up, “I didn’t expect you to be such a King of Hell! You have been deceiving me all this time!” He had to admit that his heart was almost broken. Apart from his master, this was his most favourite person, so favourite that he even forgot that their positions are opposite.

“Why are you crying?” Lord Yama leaned closer and said in a hoarse voice, “I said I want to eat you, but that’s not the way to eat you. With your small body, I will be able to eat only one meal, what’s the point of that? I want to eat every day, eat you for every meal.”

You Shu shuddered and said in a trembling voice, “Are you planning to fatten me up and cut a pound of meat every day?”

Lord Yama was dumbfounded, but then he laughed in a low voice. He held You Shu’s slender waist with one hand and touched his fleshy buttocks with the other hand, saying, “I made a mistake just now, it should be you eating me, not me eating you, using this place, do you understand now?”

Feeling the fingers between his buttocks, You Shu’s pale cheeks instantly turned red and his already round eyes became much bigger. He said in disbelief, “You, you, you, you…”

“What ‘you you you’, I have liked you for so long, can’t you feel it? As the ruler of one realm,” In fact it’s two realms, but there is no need to say it now, “I was already busy enough, but I still protected you and accompanied you day and night. I even used my power for personal gain to take away your family property and take care of your household chores. I have sacrificed so much for you, but you turned around and fell in love with Emperor Xuanguang. How can I be reconciled? Yes, I have long realized that you are an outsider. If I wanted to harm you, why would I wait until now?”

He grabbed the tender flesh on You Shu’s left cheek and cursed, “You heartless little villain, figure out for yourself how many lives you owe me, and how should you repay me?”

That’s right, if this person really wanted to harm him, it was just a matter of moving his fingers, so why wait until now? On the contrary, this person has always protected him and taken care of him in every possible way. Thinking of this, the fear and indignation in You Shu’s heart were all replaced with guilt and he didn’t dare to struggle anymore, he also stopped crying. 

After careful calculation, he really owed this man several lives. Adhering to the principle of repaying kindness, he should indeed pay it back, but what this man wanted was…  it’s my own backyard flower, what should I do?

You Shu became confused, feeling that this man’s embrace was as hot as a furnace, making him restless and ashamed. He lifted his buttocks and kicked his legs again, hoping to transform into a grasshopper and jump out in one go.

Lord Yama grabbed his chin and forced him to look directly at himself, saying in a deep voice, “Look at your little face. Apart from shame, embarrassment, and hesitation, there is no hatred or disgust. Do you know what this means?”

“What does this mean?” You Shu’s head was already burnt and confused, unable to think at all.

“This means that you also like me, in the same way you like Emperor Xuanguang, but you just don’t want to admit it.”

“Nonsense! The only one I like is my master! I will always like him, in my last last life, my previous life, this life, my next life, and my next next life! I will only like him! I will like him forever!” You Shu was already incoherent and he didn’t even know what he was saying, feeling that his tongue was a little knotted.

This was the first time for Lord Yama to hear such an infatuated and unrepentant declaration. He felt a bit funny and his heart was moved, with some indescribable sourness: This little villain said that he is in love with Emperor Xuanguang, but he also loved to cling to himself. He clearly likes both of them, but refuses to admit it.  Fortunately, they both are the same person, otherwise he should have been hung up and beaten.

Suppressing the smile on his throat, he threatened, “Choose me or Emperor Xuanguang. I will give you three days to consider. You must remember that no one in this world can save you except me. If this life and death book is discovered by other ghosts and immortals, you must know the consequences?”

Before You Shu could react, he was sent back to the ghost mansion. The ancestor immediately brought a basin of hot water to let him continue soaking his feet. How could he be in the mood to soak his feet? He just wiped his feet casually and went to bed, rolling around all night without falling asleep.  

However, public and private matters must be kept separate. One should not forget his work due to personal reasons. Early the next morning, he mustered up his energy and went to the Prince Li’s Mansion to collect the debt.

Seeing the hair in the small box, Prince Li was frightened and asked him repeatedly where he got it. You Shu said that Lord Yama appeared in his dream last night and asked him to bring something here to collect debt. Although he was dubious, he still came here to give it a try. 

Upon hearing this, Prince Li was so frightened that he repaid the debt by selling iron and steel, and even wrote a promissory letter apologizing to the emperor. The courtiers had already compromised upon seeing the prince like this, feeling that dragging on any further would lead to their own demise, so they had no choice but to dig into their own pockets.

The already depleted treasury became full in less than half a month, which made Emperor Xuanguang feel so happy that he held a banquet in the Qianqing Palace to entertain Lord Zhao. He is undoubtedly a great contributor to this thorough investigation of the Ministry of Household Affairs and the collection of national debts.

Due to the worries in his heart, You Shu, who had never touched a drop of alcohol before, drank three glasses of strong liquor today, which made his face flushed red and his eyes moist, which was very pleasing. Emperor Xuanguang repeatedly urged him to drink, his expression unpredictable.

At this moment, a tall figure appeared out of thin air. He slowly walked to the table, hugged You Shu from behind and whispered softly, “Three days have passed, have you decided?”

You Shu woke up instantly and stammered a reply using his mental strength, “No, no, can you give me a few more days?”

“Day after day, how long are you planning to delay it?” Lord Yama smiled softly while reaching into his clothes, caressing and kneading him slowly. His invisible hands solidified, directly penetrating the fabric and touching the delicate and soft skin.

You Shu was paralyzed by the tingling sensation and almost wanted to moan, but the master was watching from the side. He couldn’t show any ugliness and had to bite his lip tightly to endure it. Lord Yama took this opportunity to touch him all over, but when he reached the lower abdomen, You Shu suddenly trembled and let out a muffled snort.

Emperor Xuanguang showed a worried expression, “Lord Zhao, what’s wrong with you? Are you feeling unwell? Do you want me to call the imperial doctor to take a look at you?”

“No, don’t.” You Shu lay on the table and gasped heavily.

Emperor Xuanguang quickly hugged the person into his arms and unbuttoned his clothes, whispering into his ear, “But your chest must be feeling tight after drinking too much? Let me help you rub it.” As he spoke, his hands started to move slowly.

Two pairs of hands moved around all over his body, always touching the most sensitive area, making You Shu’s cheeks turn red and he almost collapsed. 

Just as he wanted to resist, Lord Yama grabbed his chin from behind, turned his face towards himself, and kissed him deeply.

Can you kiss through a mask? You Shu was stunned at first, and then reached out to push. But what he touched was not a cold mask, but a very elastic texture. Why do these undulating shapes, this high nose, deep eyes, and thin lips felt more and more familiar as he touched them? The flustered expression on his face slowly faded into uncertainty.

Upon seeing him like this, Lord Yama and Emperor Xuanguang stopped their movements together and laughed softly. The laughter overlapped strangely, making You Shu look left and right, his head feeling dizzy.

“You two, you have the same face?” Even though he said this, he himself didn’t believe this. However, he suddenly remembered Ou Tai’s token, finally realising something.

Lord Yama removed the smokescreen and slowly merged with Emperor Xuanguang, saying with a smile, “Fool, Emperor Xuanguang is me, Lord Yama is also me, we are the same person.”

You Shu gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, accusing with tears in his eyes, “You lied to me!” These days, he has been struggling with the pain of falling in love with two people at the same time, but it turns out that both of them are his masters! 

No wonder he was unable to take any precautions against Lord Yama from the very beginning. No wonder he naturally accepted him and trusted him without reservations. That’s because his subconscious has long been accustomed to the breath of the other party’s soul, and his body recognized it earlier than his brain.

“You played with me!” Thinking of the threat three days ago, You Shu became even more angry.

Emperor Xuanguang picked him up and threw him into the bright yellow bed, kissing him while whispering in a hoarse voice, “No matter who you choose, I will still eat you. Don’t make trouble. You won’t be angry after you are full.”

You Shu struggled hard, but was easily pressed down. The curtains fell down without any wind, blocking the beautiful scenery inside, but they could not stop the humming that filled the room. When the clouds finally disappeared and the rain stopped, he had no strength to care anymore, lying limply in his master’s arms and caressing him.

“So we have been with each other for three lifetimes now?” Emperor Xuanguang believed in You Shu’s words, but he had no memory in his mind. He pondered for a moment and suddenly said, “No wonder there was the phenomenon of the Zi Wei star falling from the sky on a starry night.”

“What is the fall of the Zi Wei star?”

“The fall of the Zi Wei star is the fall of the Zi Wei Emperor Star.” 

Seeing You Shu’s shocked expression, Emperor Xuanguang quickly comforted him, “I’m still here and totally fine, so Zi Wei(emperor star) probably didn’t fall, but gave up his star position.” As for why he gave up his star position, looking at the weak and helpless person in his arms, he already knew the answer. No wonder he was in the prison of the underworld when he woke up. Something must’ve gone wrong when he fell.

“What will happen if you give up your star position?” You Shu became nervous and tightly wrapped his hands around his master’s neck.

“It has no impact on me, but there will be a situation in the world where there will be conflicts among the various powers. Po Jun, Qi Sha, Tian Leng and other stars under Zi Wei’s jurisdiction will enter the world one after another to seize the position of emperor star. But now, although Zi Wei has fallen from the sky, the other stars have not yet appeared, and I am the only one here, so the world will be peaceful for hundreds of years.” Emperor Xuanguang was strangled out of breath, but he was very happy in his heart.

“That is to say, the world will be in chaos, huh?” You Shu’s eyes widened.

“‘Those long separated tend to unite, those long united tend to separate. Thus it has ever been’. Alright, don’t think too much about it. Even if the Zi Wei Emperor Star didn’t fall, Qi Sha, Po Jun, Tian Lang and other stars will still enter the world. This is the heavenly way, and no one can change it.” Emperor Xuanguang patted You Shu’s naked back.

Having studied star numerology, You Shu naturally understood that after every certain period of time, the evil stars in heaven will take turns to enter the world and sweep away the mortal world. Even Xingjun(Star God) can’t stand up to the heavenly way, so he, a mortal, should just go to sleep. 

With this thought in his mind, he rested his head in his master’s arms and fell asleep peacefully.
