Chapter 58 (Part 2) – There’s A Beauty

Home/ There’s A Beauty / Chapter 58 (Part 2)

Apart from his master and parents, You Shu never cared about other people’s feelings, especially when talking about a monster. He peeled off the skin, pried open the sternum, and continued, “Although you are covered in rotting flesh and looked to be on the verge of death, there is an unusual vitality hidden within your body. It is this strand of vitality that keeps you from rotting and dying, and even if you die, your body doesn’t get stiff, right? Did you have a lucky encounter?”

The monster trembled violently.

You Shu pried open its sternum a little further to observe the internal organs, and said calmly, “Don’t worry, I’m not interested in your lucky encounter. You’ve made yourself look half-dead, so it can be seen that you didn’t get any treasure during that encounter, but obtained something evil. Dadao is fifty, Tianyan is forty-nine, and there is only a ray of life left behind. It could be understood in a way, that is, the immortal will always have a fatal weakness. Except for people outside the world, the Dao of Heaven wouldn’t allow an eternal existence beyond itself.”

The monster trembled so much that it couldn’t even feel the pain. Having lived for over 600 years, You Shu is the first and the only person who can make it afraid to this extent.

You Shu broke open the ribs on its left chest, and said, “I originally guessed that your weakness is either the head or the heart, but my last two attempts were unsuccessful, and I considered many other possible places. You must know, here and here.” He pointed to his temple, then pointed to his left chest, and slightly raised the corners of his lips, as if very happy.

“This is the common weakness of all animals, whether you are a monster or a ghost. As long as you are in your original form, and these two places are destroyed, it is impossible to survive. But you survived, so I thought, is your body structure different from ordinary people? There is a kind of person in the world, called mirror person, whose internal organs are distributed like normal people, but in the opposite way, just like looking in a mirror. Although you’re not a human being, you can transform, and your body structure is just like that of a human being.”

Amidst the sharp and frightened screams of the monster, You Shu cut open its right chest and sighed, “It’s indeed hidden here.”

“Young Master Zhao, please spare me! I have lived for six hundred years and have hidden many valuable treasures. I will give them all to you, just let me go this time!” The beautiful skin of the monster was now covered in blood and scarred by knives, looking very pitiful.

You Shu firmly refused, “After living for six hundred years, how many humans have you skinned and how much human flesh have you eaten? In order to prevent you from harming any living beings in the future, I won’t let you go.” Although the words were very righteous, You Shu doesn’t really care about how many people this monster has killed. The only thing he cannot tolerate is that this monster tried to harm his family, which is the most unforgivable sin.

The monster still wanted to continue begging for mercy, but the young man had raised the knife, chopping the beating heart in half. The sound of howling and crying stopped all of a sudden, and the originally noisy room was so quiet that even a needle drop could be heard. As soon as the monster died, the smokescreen imposed on the inside and outside of the house also disappeared, and an extremely strong and pungent stench accompanied by black and red blood slowly seeped out of the torn atrium, gradually spreading into the air.

The little ghost who was squatting on the beam watching the play had already been scared away by the ruthless methods of his lord. The frozen hidden guards also woke up slowly, and looked down, almost falling off the roof. Here, is this the earth or the purgatory?

You Shu didn’t care that this strange scene was seen by others, he slightly bent over, and picked the monster’s heart with the tip of his knife. He faintly felt that there was something strange about this stench that suddenly became tens of thousands of times stronger, and he needed to deal with it quickly. However, just as he took out a few fire talismans, intending to destroy the corpse, the door of his room was forcefully kicked open. Looking up, he saw his master standing at the door, who was supposed to be in the Eastern Palace at this time.

Behind him stood Mrs. Wang and Zhao Zhizhou, as well as a few other servants who were poking their heads.

“Ahhhhhh…” Amidst a series of screams soaring into the sky, the Ninth Prince quickly slammed the door and locked it.

You Shu straightened up, and spoke, “My mother seems to have fainted.”

“She will be fine, let’s deal with this mess first.” The Ninth Prince calmly walked up to the corpse, and reached out to caress the blood spots on the side of the young man’s cheek.

You Shu took two steps back in fright, looked at the corpse on the ground, and then at his master. He suddenly came back to his senses, and quickly threw away the murder weapon with a clang. He hugged his knees, crouched his head, and squatted down facing the corner of the wall.

“I….I’m not what you think!” His voice trembled visibly, “It’s not….”. He swallowed the last word just in time. Letting his master witness such a bloody scene has already frightened him, so how could he let him know about a more terrifying and absurd inside story. Monsters and ghosts are the most taboo existence for mortals, so what is he then?

Can’t say it, at least not right now! You Shu shook his head repeatedly, and buried his face between his knees, letting out gentle sobs. How does this timid and cowardly appearance resemble the young man who was fiddling with the corpse just now? If the Ninth Prince hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he would have doubted his own judgment.

But he knew that the chaos inside the room must have been caused by You Shu. However, he also knew that You Shu is not the kind of person to kill randomly. There must be a reason behind this, but since he refused to say it, he won’t ask either. He would just act as if nothing happened.

Now, he must calm down the emotions of this Little Troublemaker so that he will not be afraid of himself. Damn it, who should be afraid in such an environment? Who should be comforted? The Ninth Prince felt quite absurd at this moment, unable to laugh or cry for a while.

He hugged the young man with his back to him, gently kissed his neck and cheeks, saying slowly, “You Shu, don’t be afraid, I won’t ask anything. I will wait until the day you are willing to tell me yourself. I know you must have a compelling reason to kill her, I believe you. Remember, no matter what the circumstances are, I will always choose to believe in you. So are you willing to believe me?”

In desperation, You Shu unconsciously began to recite the Bible silently: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things…… Yes, in this life, he can have expectations from his master, and he can also try to believe in him.

“Yes, I am willing to believe you.” He finally turned his head, hiccupping one after another, with red eyes and a shiny nose, looking extremely pitiful, as if it was him who was mutilated.

The Ninth Prince felt a bit angry and funny at the same time, and holding You Shu’s cheek, he kissed him deeply. The two were squatting in a pool of blood, hugging and comforting each other, their clothes were stained with blood, but they didn’t feel the slightest discomfort. On the contrary, the hidden guard on the beam who was looking down at the scene had an indescribable expression on his face. He took a quick look at the corpse underneath, covered his face and thought to himself: Your Highness, which evil god did you fall in love with?

However, no matter how sweet the atmosphere was inside the room, the outside situation was in a mess.

Mrs. Wang stood on the porch for a long time, waiting for her husband to come back. When she saw him coming, she quickly pulled him to the side to talk about how to save their son from fire and water. Zhao Zhizhou’s face changed immediately, and he was about to tell her not to act rashly, when the Ninth Prince suddenly appeared outside their door, asking them where You Shu lived.

When the Ninth Prince came to Zhao Mansion, he quietly planned to sneak into You Shu’s bedroom and ask him what happened. But unexpectedly, after walking around the yard dozens of times, he just couldn’t find the way, as if You Shu’s bedroom disappeared out of thin air for no reason. He was shocked beyond words, and had no choice but to go to the upper room, and ask Zhao Zhizhou and his wife if they had moved You Shu’s room to another place.

At first, Zhao Zhizhou and Wang Shi shook their heads reflexively, then came back to their senses and hurriedly went outside to investigate. They also wandered outside the courtyard like headless flies for a few quarters of an hour. Only at this moment did they realize that they might have run into an evil spirit. Isn’t this the legendary ghost wall? But the question is where did it send You Shu?

When the Ninth Prince was so anxious that he wanted to rush to the Zhenguo Temple overnight to invite an eminent monk to pray, the bedroom that had disappeared out of thin air reappeared again. He kicked open the door without thinking, and saw the purgatory-like scene, with a pool of blood inside.

The group of people was still trying their best to restrain the anxiety in their hearts, and after the door was kicked open, the commotion became a bit louder. The other houses of the Zhao family were already keeping a close eye on the big house, so how could they not notice it? They sent people to check the situation and listen carefully.

At this time, Mrs. Wang was still unconscious, and Zhao Zhizhou was also in a state of confusion, and he didn’t notice the servants sneaking around in their yard. By the time they woke up, the story had already spread throughout the whole house.

Second House, In Zhao Yusong’s bedroom.

The second wife sat beside her son’s bed, using a gold hairpin to fiddle with the incense in the copper stove, she said slowly, “Look at your worthless appearance, a woman died, and you were so frightened that you lost your mind. If you don’t get better, how many people will rejoice and laugh at you? I know about the knot in your heart, and I also know that you are unwilling to let it go, but you don’t have to worry, mother has already solved it for you.”

The haggard Zhao Yusong was finally willing to open his eyes, which were shining brightly at this moment.

The second wife stroked the hair on his temples, and continued, “You men, you just can’t think with your brains. If you want a woman, why go to that dirty place, just pick a beautiful one at home. One that is well-behaved, responsible and clean. That fool Mrs. Wang, after listening to a few words from outsiders, rushed to send one into her son’s bedroom. I heard that it’s already done now.”

Zhao Yusong asked with hope, “Mother, are you telling the truth?”

“Can I still deceive you? Our servants watched them go in together with their own eyes, and it has already been three quarters of an hour now. The rice has already been cooked and it cannot be uncooked now.”

She put the gold hairpin back into her bun and said with a contemptuous smile, “After all, Mrs. Wang came from a merchant family, and her knowledge is limited. Although homosexuality is prevalent in Xia Qi, and it is common for a young man to choose a maid to accompany him as a dowry, that doesn’t include his Royal Highness. Who is he? He was raised by the emperor himself, and was destined to be the future crown prince from a young age, he can be said to be superior and exclusive. Do you think he can tolerate the person he likes to have relations with other women? Mrs. Wang’s actions will definitely provoke the thunder and wrath of His Royal Highness Ninth Prince, and by then, their whole family will be finished.”

Speaking of this, the second wife sighed deeply, “If it were someone else’s parents, they would grit their teeth and endure it, or even personally send their child to the Ninth Prince’s bed. But the couple of the big house love their child more than their lives, so How can they be willing? Naturally, they will try their best to rescue their son from the fire pit. But they are wrong, because doing this will only cause harm. So, my son, don’t blame your mother for hurting you, not loving you, not understanding you, and always forcing you to do things you don’t like. We all are doing this for your own good. Although Princess Mingzhu has a stubborn and willful temper, she will be your best assistance. Otherwise, how will you be able to turn your life around now? So, hurry up and get better. After you marry the princess, and become an imperial son-in-law, there will always be a day when you will bring glory to your ancestors.”

Zhao Yusong was enlightened and seemed to have an awakening, he even wanted to take the medicine immediately to get better.

Just at this moment, a woman ran in from the outside and said in a panic, “Second wife, it’s not good, the fifth son has cut Tao Hong alive!”
