Chapter 100 (Part 1) – There’s A Beauty

Home/ There’s A Beauty / Chapter 100 (Part 1)

Perhaps it was the fear of eternal stagnation of time that stemmed in his heart, but as the master gradually aged, You Shu also had a strong desire to die with him together. But the energy that the master had previously inputted into his body was for protection, to prevent him(ys) from doing irreparable foolish things. This force automatically and spontaneously began to seal his spiritual power, causing him to fall into a deep sleep uncontrollably.

As soon as he regained consciousness, before he could catch his breath, he was greeted with a heavy slap, and the person who hit him was his master he had never forgotten. How could You Shu accept this? He blinked and exclaimed in disbelief, “Master?”

Unless he is confused by small spells such as blindfolds, he would definitely not mistake his master with his naked eye alone. Although the person in front of him had a thick beard and a ferocious scar running across his face, it couldn’t conceal his handsome and resolute eyebrows. It is obvious that his master has a brand new body, so what is their relationship now? Judging from the other party’s disgusted expression and rude behavior, it seems that they are not friends, but enemies?

You Shu felt flustered in his heart, but he also knew that it was best not to act rashly until he understood the current situation. He looked up at the sky and blinked quickly, trying to force back the tears. However, this expression was misunderstood by Meng Changye as him(ys) acting arrogant.

He waved his hand and slapped him again, saying coldly, “You’re still sitting in a daze. Hurry up and get on your horse! Otherwise, I’ll tie a rope around your waist and drag you away.”

“General, why bother talking to him? Just tie him up and throw him on a horse!” A deputy general shouted furiously.

Both of You Shu’s cheeks were swollen. He really couldn’t bear it anymore. He looked at his master with tears in his eyes and choked up, “What on earth did I do wrong? Can’t you just tell me properly? I’ll listen to you if you tell me, and I won’t do it again.”

Why did he suddenly change his temperament? Meng Changye was very puzzled, and when he looked into those eyes again, he couldn’t help but be stunned. To be honest, the appearance of Emperor Chun was his favorite. When he smiled slightly, two small dimples would appear on his cheeks, which could melt people’s hearts.

However, the bad thing was his eyes, with blood streaks on the white of his eyes and murky pupils, filled with the most filthy emotions in the world, such as cruelty, selfishness, power, desire, and calculation. Those eyes are inlaid in this beautiful face, like a bright flower spitting out a foul-smelling stamen, which was really disgusting.

But now, these eyes seem to have been washed in clear spring water. The whites of the eyes became whiter and the pupils turned darker, glistening with tears. They are extremely beautiful and extremely clean. Looking at the person now, and then thinking about the foolish and ignorant Emperor Chun before, Meng Changye actually had the illusion that these two are completely different people.

But he quickly broke free from the magic of those eyes and raised his hand to slap him again, but in the end, he couldn’t bear to do it for some reason.

Finally, Meng Changye lightly slapped him on the forehead and said angrily, “What did you do wrong? Don’t you know what you did? Damn it, if you hadn’t harmed the common people and killed upright officials indiscriminately, I wouldn’t have rebelled! Hurry up and get on your horse! If you delay the trip, I will break your legs with my own hands!”

You Shu’s eyes flickered slightly, and as he was thinking about these words, he saw a man with a pale face approach and plead for mercy, “General, calm down, when the emperor was seven years old, he fell off a horse and never touched it again. The emperor really doesn’t know how to ride a horse. How about I take him with me?”

“If you had told me earlier, I wouldn’t have wasted my time!” Meng Changye glared at the man, then got on his horse and rode away with a whip.

You Shu saw that the man was a eunuch and seemed to have no ill intentions towards him, so he climbed onto the saddle with the other party’s help. In fact, he can ride a horse, but before he can figure out the situation, it is best to act accordingly. After he sat firmly, the man climbed onto the horse’s back, hugged him, and gently pulled the reins. The horse lifted its hooves and started running, slowly at first, and then faster and faster. Two thousand elite soldiers surrounded the two, ensuring that they would not be able to run away even if they grew wings.

The cold wind blew on his face like a knife, making You Shu quite unable to bear it. He tilted his head and whispered tentatively, “What should we do in the future?” This question was enough to gather the information he wanted. He was sure that this man has a master-servant relationship with himself.

As expected, the man answered, “Your Majesty, although you exchanged the treasure map for your life, General Huwei is a ruthless person. Who knows whether he will demolish the bridge after crossing the river. Perhaps he will kill people and silence the enemy. I think we should find an opportunity to escape halfway. The governor of Bianzhou is the late emperor’s confidant, and he has watched you grow up, so he would be willing to take you in. No matter what, your surname is Ji, and you are of the blood of a true dragon. Those feudal lords want to be the emperor, but others will never recognize them! Let’s go to Bianzhou first, which is another city of Jin state, and then we will discuss the restoration of the country.”

You Shu neither nodded nor shook his head, gazing at his master’s swift back in the distance, his thoughts surging inside his heart.

He finally understood that his current surname is Ji, and it is unknown whether his name is You Shu or not, but he is the emperor of Jin country which had fallen; and his master is General Huwei, who led his troops to overthrow the ruler of Jin and captured himself. In order to save his life, he traded the royal treasures for a moment of stability. From the expressions and words of his master and soldiers around him, he guessed that he should be a tyrant and the responsibility for the country’s downfall could be attributed to his own incompetence.

But how could it be possible? He had been sleeping for a long time, and it’s only been less than two-quarter of an hour since he woke up. How could he become the emperor of Jin State and then make people angry? No matter what he thought, You Shu couldn’t figure it out for a long time, and his temples started to throb incessantly, feeling as if his head was about to explode.

He originally thought that his soul was in someone else’s body. But when he rolled up his sleeves and saw a cinnabar mole on the inside of his wrist, he rejected this idea. This is indeed his body, but looking at the current situation, it seems an impostor has occupied his body and has done many things that he didn’t even know about. It was as if someone had stolen his memory and time, leaving a mess for him to clean up. This feeling is so terrible!

But soon, You Shu discovered something even worse. He was originally pampered by his master, but he was never a useless person who couldn’t lift his hands or shoulders. On the contrary, by ordinary people’s standards, he could be said to be skilled in both literature and martial arts. But now, after only riding the horse for a while, the inside of his legs were burning with pain, and the skin had obviously been worn out.

This body was originally formed by the convergence of spiritual energy, which is stronger and more resilient than average people. But now it has turned into a crispy egg that can easily break at the slightest touch. What on earth is going on? You Shu was in so much pain that he had to grit his teeth and had no time to think about anything else.

If he knew that this body had been soaked in milk, drinking fine wine, sleeping in brocade, dressed in silk since childhood, and even wiping the buttocks with grass paper made of silk, he would’ve understood why he was so incompetent in capturing the heart of the starry male protagonist. Even the sharpest sword will rust if left unused for a long time.

The eunuch noticed his discomfort and comforted in a low voice, “Your Majesty, please be patient. We will find an opportunity to escape.”

Escape? How could You Shu possibly escape from his master’s side? The reason why this body ascended to the throne was entirely due to the Zi Wei Emperor’s aura bestowed upon him by his master. On the other hand, his master became a rebellious general, which could be considered a cycle of cause and effect. In order to repay this karma, You Shu was willing to offer everything he had. If the master wants the throne, he will personally push him up; if the master wants the treasure, he will help him find it. In short, he will definitely stay with his master for the rest of his life.

But the fallen emperor and the rebellious general are mortal enemies, so how can they coexist peacefully? According to the master’s style of doing things, once he(ys) has no use value, his master will definitely get rid of the donkey, right? Thinking of this, You Shu couldn’t help but shrink his neck.

However, he quickly got rid of these distracting thoughts and prepared to brush up on his master’s favorability first.

While he was thinking wildly, the army arrived at a small mountain village. Due to the war, people in the village had already fled with their families, leaving behind many empty houses, which was enough to squeeze the two thousand elites in for a while. With the help of the eunuch, You Shu flipped over and dismounted from the horse, his slender legs shaking like chaff.

Meng Changye walked through the crowd and grabbed him by the collar, saying in a deep voice, “You live with me.” Finally, he pointed out a few strong men, “You keep an eye on this eunuch. If he dares to run, there is no need to report to me, just chop him off.”

Everyone agreed in unison and then went back to rest.

Meng Changye chose the village chief’s house, which was very spacious. Liu Wen and several lieutenants also moved in together. They started to chop firewood, boil water, and cook. They didn’t carry much food, so they threw whatever was left into the boiling water to make porridge. It tasted terrible, but at least their stomachs would be full.

You Shu couldn’t walk, and he was held under Meng Changye’s arm like a little chicken. After entering the main room, Meng Changye threw him heavily on the dusty kang, causing You Shu’s whole body to curl up in pain, and he couldn’t help but groan. His black and white eyes seemed to be filled with mist, as if they were about to shed tears at any time.

Meng Changye was stunned by his pitiful little appearance, and his heart seemed to twist into a ball, feeling a bit chilled for a while. While repeatedly telling himself that this man was a ruthless tyrant, he forcefully suppressed the urge to step forward and comfort him.

“What are you howling for? I haven’t even touched you yet, but you are already howling like a dying pig. Believe it or not, I’ll knock all your teeth out with a slap!” He raised his hand as if to slap him, but it didn’t fall for a long time.

These words were really against his will and made him feel a lot of guilt for no reason. Emperor Chun’s moans didn’t sound like those of a dying pig. It was clearly very touching and even more exciting than the voices he occasionally heard when he passed by the military prostitute camp. If it weren’t for the heavy armor covering up his body’s most faithful reaction, he would have definitely made a fool of himself.

The more he thought about it, the more he couldn’t figure it out. It was clear that he felt disgusted when he first saw Emperor Chun, so why is his lower body so hard and unbearable right now? Damn it, could it be that he was bewitched by Emperor Chun? Thinking of this, Meng Changye wiped his face fiercely and waved his fist at the person sitting on the kang before going out.
