Chapter 55 (Part 2) – There’s A Beauty

Home/ There’s A Beauty / Chapter 55 (Part 2)

The Ninth Prince originally planned to teach him slowly, maybe he could hug him from behind, hold his little hand, and take advantage of it without any trace, but now all his illusions were shattered, and he couldn’t help showing a disappointed look. He was not surprised by You Shu’s extraordinary talent, if he really was the reincarnation of that person, he would naturally be very talented. One must know that the few essays written by that person have not been surpassed by anyone until now, he and that Overlord are both unmatched existences.

Xue Wangjing was shocked, with just one glance, he can imitate His Highness’s handwriting to ten percent. I’m afraid there is no such person in the world. You Shu has only known His Highness for a few days, and it is absolutely impossible to get his handwriting and practise it in private. In other words, as soon as His Highness asked him to change the font, he had already grasped the essence of his handwriting.

What kind of terrifying learning ability is this? No wonder he hit it off with His Highness, it turns out they are two geniuses! Xue Wangjing let out a breath quietly, and finally completely bowed down.

You Shu also noticed that something was wrong with what he did, but it was not because of arousing suspicion from others, but because of the disappointed expression of his master. In the previous life, the more outstanding he was, the happier the master was. In this life, when he showed his strengths, the master did not praise him. Did he wish he was a little dumber?

You Shu guessed like this, and then peeped at the master one after another, feeling a little nervous. He is not ashamed of the behaviour of ‘pretending not to understand’. In his opinion, it is purely an insult to his IQ, but if the master likes it, maybe he can compromise a little. He has already said that in this life, he must make up for his master and make him feel safe and happy.

Thinking of this, You Shu nodded slightly, deciding to hide his talent.

Although the Ninth Prince came to the study, he was very quiet all the time, except for staring at the young man, he did not lose his temper for no reason, which made the teacher feel relieved. Seeing that it was almost time, he immediately waved his hand to dismiss the students, took his book and walked away quickly, fearing that he would accidentally offend the evil god in the end.

Study literature in the morning and practise martial arts in the afternoon, with a one-hour break in between. The Ninth Prince brought the boy to the Eastern Palace to treat him graciously. After eating, they both lay down on the soft couch to tease the turtle. When Emperor Zhongkang came, the Ninth Prince was crushing a piece of corn cake and throwing it into a small clay basin, then broke another piece and handed it to the young man’s lips. Because he accidentally stuffed his fingertips into it and got a little saliva on it, he smirked and sucked it into his mouth, as if he had eaten some dragon liver and phoenix marrow, with a very intoxicated expression on his face.

The young man didn’t think it was strange, he raised his face, blinked his eyes, and the faint dimples on his cheeks showed his heart full of joy.

The two of them put their heads to each other, tips of their noses almost touching, and they spoke in each other’s ears, not knowing what they were talking about. The young man seems to be a little shy, and he doesn’t know how to talk and laugh loudly, but his son is uncharacteristically, and frequently laughs heartily. His stretched eyebrows, soft and handsome facial features, and gentle and peaceful demeanour unconsciously made Emperor Zhongkang red-eyed.

Because he stood by the window for a long time, the head eunuch asked softly, “Your Majesty, do you want to go in?”

“No, let them stay together.” Emperor Zhongkang waved his hand and stood for a while before leaving quietly. Six hundred years have passed, after all, what kind of devout prayers can create such a wonderful fate?

The Ninth Prince had already noticed his father’s approach, but pretended not to know it, and did not show the slightest strange look when he left. You shu felt more keenly, but he didn’t take the initiative to remind him either. Now he only wished he could be like a puppy and circle around his master all the time, how could he care about others?

After feeding Xuanwu, You Shu dragged his master to bed no matter what, hoping that he would make up for all the sleep he had lost. The Ninth Prince couldn’t help but get on the bed with half a push, then pulled the young man into his arms and hugged him tightly, locking his lower body with his feet.

The paintings on the top of the curtains have all been put away, and the fireflies have been released into the imperial garden, leaving only a glittering golden embroidered dragon. When the boy was not by his side, the Ninth Prince wished he could fall asleep early, so that he could reunite with the boy just by closing and opening his eyes. However, once he arrived by his side, he wanted to stay awake all the time, and was reluctant to waste even a single moment. He stared at the embroidered dragon, racking his brains to think of topics, but the young man hugged his head, covered his eyes with his palms, and told him, “Go to sleep.”

Unable to resist, he arched in the boy’s arms, then closed his eyes, but tried his best to stay awake. He couldn’t help but think of the kiss he has yesterday, feeling uneasy for a moment. He longed for the boy to kiss him again, but also wondered if he should take the initiative.

No matter how keen his senses are, You Shu can’t see through his master’s disguise. He waited for a while until his master’s breathing was steady and his expression was calm, then he stroked his raven blue long hair with his fingertips, with a guilty and loving expression on his face. The moment he felt loved, he also knew how to love at the same time.

Just as the Bible says: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things…… In his last life, he made the mistake of misunderstanding his master, but in this life he already knows what to do. He still didn’t dare to show his true self in front of his master, but he believed that one day, sooner or later, he would accept his original self. No matter how many misunderstandings, tribulations, or barriers, nothing can drive him away from his master. He will endure for a long time and will never stop.

Thinking of everything, his eyes were slightly red, he rubbed his delicate cheeks against his master’s smooth forehead, then kissed him reverently between his brows, and said to himself, “I will never leave you again in this life, we will grow old safely and then walk go to the grave together.”

No sentence is more beautiful than these few sentences, no kiss is purer than this one. The Ninth Prince didn’t need to ask anymore, he already understood You Shu’s feelings for him. No matter how much he remembers about Emperor Zongsheng, he really loves himself now.

The Ninth Prince believed in his own judgement, and his mood became even more agitated. This kiss only touched the centre of his brow lightly, but it directly seems to touch his soul, the feeling of panic and emptiness that always lacks something; the fear and helplessness that has entangled him for countless days and nights finally completely dissipated with this kiss. He wanted to smile, but also wanted to cry bitterly. He endured so that he didn’t let himself open his eyes, scaring the boy with a sore nose.

He tried his best to hold back the tears that flowed more and more, so as not to let the warm touch pass through the fabric to the chest, alerting him. At the same time, he heard his gentle sobbing. He cried, filled with regret and remorse, for the mistakes he had made, and for the six hundred years he has lost for no reason.

If it were normal, the Ninth Prince would definitely feel distressed beyond measure, but today he forced himself to remain silent. His eyelashes fluttered slightly and he calmed down quickly, telling himself not to comfort him, just let him feel guilty and remorse all the time, so that he would not abandon himself heartlessly.

It seems despicable to rely on a person’s guilt and remorse to get the words “never leave”, but he has no other way, and he is also afraid of being abandoned and tortured by those nightmares again.

You Shu cried for a while before realising that he was making a lot of noises. He quickly wiped away his tears, hugged the master’s head tightly into his arms, then gently covered his ears, and began to hiccup one after another, trembling with fear. It took a quarter of an hour to calm down.

He rubbed his slightly red and swollen eyes, and then slowly fell asleep next to his master. After a while, the Ninth Prince looked up at him, sighed and kissed on the centre of his brow, and murmured silently: It’s settled then, we will live a peaceful and stable life, then walk into the grave together.

After waking up, You Shu’s eyes were even more red and swollen, with almost a thin slit left, and her cheeks, which were already slightly fat like babies, looked like big fat buns. The Ninth Prince was very distressed, he massaged him repeatedly with a hot egg that had been peeled off, and asked knowingly, “How could it be like this after sleeping? Let me call the imperial doctor to help you look at it?”

“Don’t!” You Shu hurriedly grabbed the hem of his clothes, and stammered, “Yes, it’s because I drank a lot of water that I swelled up. It happens very often.” He was not good at lying, let alone in front of his master, his guilty expression has already betrayed his pure heart.

Seeing him like this, the Ninth Prince didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He coughed lightly with his fist on his lips, and said after suppressing his smile, “Don’t drink too much water when you go to sleep from today on. Let’s not go to class in the afternoon, go back and have a good rest.”

Before, he always wanted to keep the boy by his side all the time, because he was afraid that he would disappear suddenly, but just now, after getting his promise and confirming his feelings, his inner anxiety and uneasiness have been greatly reduced, and he can bear the short-term separation. He personally sent the young man back to Zhao Mansion, dragged him to the door and talked for a long time before releasing him reluctantly.

You Shu covered half of his face, and walked towards the small courtyard in secret. On the way, he met a few cousins, and always felt that they looked at him very strangely. Not long after, he understood why they were looking sideways at him. It turned out that Zhao Yusong actually spread rumours that he was favoured because of his looks by His Highness the Ninth Prince in order to retaliate.

“I didn’t expect the fifth son to look so innocent and cute, only to sell himself for fame and fortune.”

“He can’t read since he was a child, and he has nothing to show except his face. How can he gain a foothold in Shangjing if he doesn’t sell his looks?”

“Tsk tsk, even though he is a master, he is so lowly in front of the royal family.”

“That’s right! No matter how well-born you are, you are still a slave of the royal family, just like us!”

Speaking of this, a group of servants gathered together and laughed, as if they had a sense of superiority. You Shu walked over lightly, not to mention anger in his heart, there is not even a trace embarrassment. In his eyes, these people are equivalent to cats and dogs, and what they say is like barking and whining, totally meaningless to him.

Bypassing the back garden, he arrived at his small courtyard. When he saw the destroyed defensive formation, he changed his face and hurried in to call out for his mother.

“What are you shouting for? Mother is here!” Mrs. Wang ran out of the room wearing a veil, and saw her son’s red and swollen cheeks, saying in shock, “Son, what’s wrong with you? Were you bullied by the Ninth Prince?” When she said this, her expression was very strange. She was a little worried and angry, but also a little relieved.

You Shu didn’t have time to observe her reaction, so he grabbed the purse from her waist and pulled out a talisman folded into a triangle. The edge of the talisman has been scorched, and it is still emitting a slight heat, obviously it has just been triggered.

“Who came here today?” He had a rare look of anger on his face, and even more murderous intent inside. You can touch him, but you can’t touch the people he cares about. That monster is looking for death!
