Chapter 105 (Part 1) – There’s A Beauty

You Shu lay on his master’s broad and sturdy back, feeling incredibly safe. He couldn’t help but hum a little tune.

His soft and lingering voice made Meng Changye’s ears burn red. His large palm, cradling the boy’s buttocks, couldn’t help but knead them a few times before he chuckled softly.

Liu Chuanshan and others were still resentful of Emperor Chun because of the drugging, feeling that their general had been bewitched. They were quite indignant and cursed viciously, “What the hell are you singing for? If it weren’t for the general protecting you, I would have chopped you into eighteen pieces long ago!”

“What are you yelling about? I’ve already said, he’s not the same as Emperor Chun.” Noticing the boy tremble a bit, Meng Changye’s ecstatic mood of getting the person back was disturbed, and he also flew into a rage.

“General, do you really believe his nonsense? Where in the world can someone have one body and two souls? If such a person exists, it’s definitely a monster. Quickly tie him to the stack of firewood and burn him!” Another deputy general said in a deep voice.

You Shu quickly hugged his master’s neck, burying his head in his shoulder. Meng Changye’s heart tightened, and he gently patted the boy’s chubby buttocks to comfort him. He then turned around and solemnly declared, word by word, “Let me make this clear today: this is my person. If anyone dares to touch him, I will kill him first!”

Liu Chuanshan and the others were intimidated by his imposing manner and wore expressions of anger mixed with fear.

Seeing the atmosphere getting more and more tense, Liu Wen quickly tried to smooth things over, “Alright, alright, stop arguing. It’s just a male pet; how could it damage our brotherhood? The person has already come back, so let’s hurry back and pack up so we can set off right away.”

Chang Shun, who was bound up tightly, suddenly realized that the emperor in front of him seemed to be different from before. No wonder he is clever one moment and foolish the next; One moment he wants to escape, and the other moment he has to return.

Everyone returned to the camp in silence. The soldiers of the tiger army saw that everyone had arrived and banged on their pots to signal for lunch. Meng Changye carefully placed the boy on the ground and smoothed his messy hair. He then turned back, and his gentle expression was replaced by a fierce and menacing look. He drew his sword and walked towards Chang Shun. If it weren’t for this damned eunuch’s instigation, how could his puppy have escaped! He had long wanted to kill this eunuch!

Chang Shun squirmed like a worm, wanting to beg for mercy. But his mouth was stuffed with a handkerchief, so he could only look at the emperor with pleading eyes. However, he knew in his heart that with the emperor’s cold and indifferent nature, as long as it didn’t affect his own interests, the other party wouldn’t care about anyone else’s life or death.

But to Chang Shun’s surprise, the Emperor actually spoke up, “General, spare him. I will never run away with him again. He was only trying to save me; he meant no harm.”

Meng Changye raised his sword, but didn’t bring it down, his expression growing increasingly terrifying.

Feeling helpless, You Shu could only try to divert his attention, “Ouch, my feet hurt so much, General, could you take a look?”

“Why do you have so many troubles!” Meng Changye’s tone was extremely impatient, but he eventually put down his sword and turned back to check.

Although Liu Wen and the others hated this eunuch, they were not so desperate as to kill him. After all, without him, who would take care of that so-called other “Emperor Chun”?

In short, nowadays, as soon as everyone sees Emperor Chun, their eyes turn red with anger. No one dares to pay attention to him, let alone take care of him. If the general likes it, just let him be. The way of homosexuality is not the right path. There will come a day when the general gets tired of the person. At that time, it will just be a matter of a few words to kill Emperor Chun.

Although everyone thought this way, seeing the General kneeling before Emperor Chun and personally taking off his shoes and socks to massage the soles of his feet, still made Liu Wen and the others quite uncomfortable. They all rolled their eyes and turned their heads away.

“Just massage it gently, it seems like there are blisters on the soles of the feet,” You Shu snorted twice.

“Sure enough. You’ve only walked a short distance, and you’ve already got so many blisters. Are you made of tofu?” Meng Changye bent down to examine it, then gently patted the boy’s delicate and fair soles, scolding, “Let’s see if you’ll run away again! Fortunately, you walked back by yourself, otherwise I would have broken your legs!”

You Shu reiterated, “It wasn’t me who wanted to run away, it was Emperor Chun.” How could I bear to leave you?

“Tch!” Someone nearby made a mocking sound, clearly disapproving of his act of pretending to be crazy and foolish. Hearing the general order to bring needles and strong liquor, he refused to move at all. Meng Changye had no choice but to fetch the things himself. He heated the needle over a fire and dipped it in the liquor before carefully popping the blisters.

The boy’s feet were fair and slender, held gently in his palms like exquisite works of art. As Meng Changye applied the medicine, he got a bit distracted, and it took him a long time to suppress the restlessness in his lower abdomen. He asked in a low voice, “Didn’t you say you could remove the soul of that dog emperor? Did you succeed?”

“No, his soul wasn’t sealed into my body by an ordinary Taoist priest. It must have been done by some ghost immortal. With my current strength, I can’t get him out yet.”

Meng Changye was greatly disappointed. Several deputy generals who had been eavesdropping on their conversation wore sarcastic expressions. One of them even sneered, “What kind of Taoist priest and ghost immortal are there? Are you telling one of those stories? General, I, Old Zhao, have disliked such nonsense since I was five.”

You Shu’s cheeks flushed red, and he was a bit speechless.

Meng Changye pinched his toes to soothe him, then turned around and yelled, “Get lost! Who cares whether you believe it or not, I believe it.”

You Shu, who had been frowning, immediately smiled, and two dimples appeared on his cheeks as he sighed, “In this world, only the General truly understands me.”

Meng Changye’s ears burned. In order to hide his embarrassment, he questioned angrily, “You had the chance to run away, so why did you come back? Aren’t you afraid I’ll ‘punish’ you?” The meaning of “punishment” varies from person to person.

You Shu’s head began to steam. Just as he was about to speak, Liu Chuanshan shouted, “The treasure map is still in our hands, so of course he needs to come back. Selling his butt is nothing, getting the treasure is the real benefit. Who knows, once we get the treasure out of the underground palace, he might poison us again and kill us all!”

“Search him! Seize all the items he bought!” Liu Wen ordered decisively.

Seeing several burly men approaching with great momentum, You Shu quickly burrowed into his master’s arms. Although he had purchased some toxic things, he had already ground them into ink and written them into talismans. He truly had no intention of harming anyone.

How could Meng Changye allow anyone else to touch his precious puppy? He merely glanced at them, and the burly men immediately retreated, their heads bowed and shoulders hunched, silently squatting to the side.

“Don’t be afraid, I won’t let anyone hurt you. Leave those things to me for the time being, and you can ask me for them when you need them. I believe in you, and you have to believe in me too, okay? “He whispered softly as he put on the young man’s shoes and socks. This tender and careful tone made several deputy generals furious.

You Shu hurriedly opened the package he was carrying and explained, “There are no harmful things. It’s just some talismans, look?” Afraid they wouldn’t believe him, he loosened his belt and opened his outer robe, revealing thin undergarments underneath.

Everyone looked closely and indeed saw that the package only contained many yellow talismans; There was nothing else. He was also completely clean and exposed. Meng Changye’s face instantly turned ashen. He quickly fastened the boy’s open robe, then took off his own cloak and wrapped it around him. Seeing that apart from his small face, no other skin was exposed, he finally stopped.

“If you don’t have anything, you don’t have anything. Why are you taking your clothes off in public? Are you asking for a beating?” He raised his hand as if to hit people, but instead gently stroked his cheek.

You Shu couldn’t help but rub his face in his master’s palm, then leaned closer and stammered, “General, believe me, I didn’t come back for the treasure. I love you and want to stay by your side forever.”

This statement was so fake and shameless that it almost made Liu Wen and the others vomit. In contrast, Meng Changye’s face was already beaming with joy, and smoke was rising above his head. He was so happy that he was almost on the verge of becoming an immortal. He clamped the young man’s thin shoulders with his hands like iron pliers and said in a trembling voice, “What did you say? Say it again?”

You Shu leaned even closer, repeating the words almost inaudibly.

Meng Changye was finally certain he wasn’t dreaming. He suddenly picked up the person, strode into the dense forest, pinned him behind a large rock, and kissed him fiercely, passionately, and relentlessly.

Even though Meng Changye kept telling himself over and over that the puppy hadn’t run away and instead had come back of his own accord, he still harbored a lingering worry. He always worried about being overly sentimental and being taken advantage of. He was also afraid that he would be deceived. It wasn’t until he heard the boy’s confession with his own ears that the huge stone in his heart finally fell to the ground, followed by unbearable ecstasy.

He wanted to laugh and shout, but nothing could compare to the real and passionate kiss.

“When did you start liking me?” He kissed him for a full quarter of an hour before reluctantly pulling away.

You Shu gasped heavily and replied, “A long, long time ago. I don’t remember.”

Meng Changye, beaming with delight, leaned in again to bite his lips, saying smugly, “My little puppy has good taste.”

You Shu wanted to laugh, but his soft laughter was swallowed up by his master, turning into soft smacking sounds as their lips intertwined. They embraced and caressed each other for a long time before finally separating slightly.

“If it weren’t for Emperor Chun’s soul still being inside this body, and if I wasn’t worried that the person I’m holding when I wake up tomorrow will be someone else, I would definitely have taken care of you right here.” Meng Changye shook his head regretfully. The thought of spending the night with his precious puppy, only to have him become Emperor Chun the next day, acting crazy and shouting, filled him with nausea.

You Shu’s face darkened slightly, but he said confidently, “There will be a way.”

The two of them kissed again as they talked, back and forth, seemingly without end. The poor soldiers outside were practically growing weeds on their heads. Several deputy generals, in particular, were filled with worry, their expressions grave. With just a few words of feigned affection, that dog emperor had completely bewitched the general. When will the general get tired of him? How long will they have to wait to kill that dog emperor? What if the general is playing for real?

Perhaps they should find an opportunity to kill Emperor Chun when they return to the Northwest? Thinking of this, Liu Wen looked at Liu Chuanshan. Liu Chuanshan gripped the hilt of his sword and nodded silently.

By the time the two finished expressing their feelings, it was already getting late. Meng Changye took the boy into his arms, wrapped him tightly in his cloak, and then rode away, followed by his men. After a day and a night of journey, they finally arrived at the foot of Panlong Mountain and found a valley that could be used for both offense and defense to set up camp.

Because the boy had many blisters on the soles of his feet, walking was excruciatingly painful. Meng Changye carried him everywhere, practically inseparable from him. Chang Shun, having been whipped ten times, was now much more honest. He even took the bird eggs that the general had personally retrieved and made hibiscus egg soup.

Having eaten and drunk their fill, the moon was high in the sky. The group took turns patrolling and spent a peaceful night. Meng Changye, still holding the boy in his arms, noticed the boy starting to struggle, probably about to wake up. He quickly let go and sat down to observe.
